A man in his mid-60s died despite CPR after an ATV accident. The incident occurred in Abbotsford on Thanksgiving Day.
ATV dangers
The Abbotsford police were called to the 29500-block Taylor Road to help the paramedics responding to an ATV crash in the rural residential neighborhood.
Based on the reports, an ATV plunged around 30 meters down a ravine. The police confirmed two passengers in an ATV were involved in the crash. A 5-year old was believed to be the grandson of the deceased sustained minor injuries.
The man went into cardiac arrest. The emergency crews delivered CPR but unable to revive him. Sadly, the man was declared dead at the scene. The coroner’s service is investigating to figure out the cause of death.
