CPR HCP Re-Certifications

Edmonton First Aid offers Lifesaving Society CPR HCP re-certification training. This course is designed for candidates needing to renew a previous CPR HCP certificate. Typical candidates include nurses, doctors and other health care professionals and administrators. Re-Certification Length:

CPR HCP recertification courses are 4 hours in length.

Course Cost:

CPR HCP courses costs 78.99. Course fee includes Lifesaving Society certification fee and all applicable taxes.

Course Content:

Candidates will review all of the material and skills from the full CPR HCP course and focus on new standards to the CPR HCP curriculum.

Course HCP Re-Cert Eligibility:

To be eligible for a Lifesaving Society CPR HCP renewal course candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must bring previous CPR HCP certification card to renewal / re-cert course.
  • Must have completed previous certification course with a credible provider such as St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James Training, the Canadian Red Cross, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line certifications are not eligible for a re-certification with a workplace approved provider.
  • Must have completed previous certification within Canada. International certifications are not eligible for a Canadian re-certification course.

Lifesaving Society Certification:

Upon successful completion of the skills component candidates will receive a Lifesaving Society CPR level “HCP” and AED certificate. Certification includes AED training.

Edmonton First Aid understands that people learn at different speeds and through different methods. If you do not complete the course you are eligible to re-take the course at no extra cost..

To register for a health care provider renewal course select the date, time and location from the selection below. Complete the registration form and pre-pay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Cancellations and Refunds:

Refunds and cancellations of health care provider CPR courses will not be accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund from registered course.
