Langley gas station shooting: Man died despite CPR

A man died during the Langley gas station shooting was given CPR. The incident was described as an “execution” style shooting in a Range Rover that was parked at the gas pump.

Shooting ordeal

The man was declared dead after a gang-style shooting at the gas station at 232nd Street and 72nd Avenue. The man was shot in a Range Rover that was parked at a pump. The Langley RCMP received several calls about a shooting according to IHIT Cpl. Frank Jang.

According to a witness, bystanders performed CPR on the victim until the arrival of the emergency crews at the Chevron just off Highway 1. The police stated that the incident was targeted.

A short time later, a pickup truck was found engulfed in flames at 196th Street and 83rd Avenue. The police are asking those who have information about the incident to come forward.
