Father who died at Winnipeg pool given CPR

A father who died at Winnipeg pool was given CPR. The father died after he and his two sons were pulled from a swimming pool at a Winnipeg apartment complex.

Water tragedy

Ram Nivash Misra, 38-years old was declared dead according to Ajay Pandey, president of the Hindu Society of Manitoba. Misra’s sons, Aaram, 10-years old and Shreyaan, 11-years old remain in critical condition. Pandey added that they are not doing good and in a very critical condition.

Paramedics were called to the pool in the city’s west end. Pandey stated that he did not know what happened in the water but called it a tragic accident. According to one witness, Misra and the two boys were rushed out of the building on stretchers while paramedics performed CPR.

The prompt delivery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can save a life. It is a life-saving technique that must be performed right away during emergencies. It significantly improves the chances of survival.
