Driver involved in a single-vehicle collision receives CPR

A man in his late 50s died despite CPR after a single-vehicle crash near McArthur Avenue. The incident occurred close to a hydro pole and wires.

Vehicular accident

The paramedics stated that the man suffered from cardiac arrest and the firefighters and bystanders performed CPR after he was extricated from the vehicle by the fire crews. The man was transported to a healthcare facility where he was later declared dead.

The collision along with the construction on the Vanier Parkway resulted in a difficult traffic situation for the commuters. St. Laurent Boulevard is expected to be sealed off for the next few hours.
