According to department spokeswoman Cheri Spottke, a man suspected in the attack is in custody. The motive is not yet clear. The authorities did not release the name of the suspect.

Based on the report of the police, a vehicle was seen leaving the site was found 3 hours after the shooting. The investigators are interviewing the driver. The officers who arrived at the scene found 4 people with gunshot wounds in a business complex parking lot in Westminster.
