Who should take the Emergency First Aid & CPR course?

This course is ideal for:

  • Individuals seeking basic first aid skills for home or community settings
  • Employees in low-risk workplaces where only basic coverage is required
  • Parents, coaches, volunteers, or anyone wanting to feel safer in emergencies

If your workplace demands a more comprehensive certification (per Alberta OHS), you may need Standard First Aid & CPR instead. If you work in childcare, you may be required to take standard childcare first aid and CPR.
