The bystanders rushed to deliver CPR and used their hands to stop the bleeding.

Armstrong was in a vehicle that plowed through a fence and crashed against a house along Russell St according to the witnesses. They saw Armstrong stumble out of the vehicle, shouted for help and collapsed nearby. A second man was seen running away down Russell St.

The police evidence markers lead from the vehicle to a yard in front of an apartment building where a strip of blood is seen where Armstrong collapsed.

According to Cyndy Recker, who lives nearby, she thought the driver in the vehicle was impaired. She heard what sounded like a loud argument coming from the vehicle and watched as it crashed into the house.

The bystanders rushed to deliver CPR and used their hands to stop the bleeding. After hitting the house, Armstrong moved out of the vehicle and staggered across the street and shouting for help and call 911.
