Based on the statements of some witnesses, the vehicle was on the tracks when the rail guards came down.

All that were left amidst the broken glass at the site of impact were 2 stuffed dogs and a War Amps sticker. The train was moving on CP Rail tracks; thus Langley RCMP traffic services and CP Police are investigating the site along with the coroner. The road was later reopened to traffic after 5 hours.
