After a swimming ordeal at Chocolate Lake, a man is in a severe condition in a Halifax hospital. The Halifax Firefighters responded to a call at Chocolate Lake around 5 PM to help the emergency health services with a cardiac arrest case.
Life-saving move
A man who was swimming and diving in the lake at Herring Cove Road did not surface. The lifeguards who are no longer on duty several minutes before, dragged him out of the water. The lifeguards delivered CPR at the site until the arrival of the paramedics.
