Ordeal at the basketball court

The RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned stated that the friend had been searching for a bathroom when he returned to find the victim bleeding on the ground at Stuart Wood Elementary.

The people on the scene performed CPR on the victim but he was later declared dead on arrival at Royal Inland Hospital. The victim is believed to be a Vancouver man in his mid-20s visiting relatives in Kamloops.
