A woman was successfully revived with CPR. After he collapse and revival, Marilyn Stallworthy met and thanked the EMS crew members who saved her.
Prompt action of EMS crew to save a life
At the time of the incident, Stallworthy just left the Wild Bird Store. Carrying bird seed to feed the birds for Christmas, she took her time walking through the slippery parking lot to her car. The next thing she knew, she was flat on her backside.
Stallworthy had an embolism that time which was a type of blood clot in her right leg that triggered her collapse, rendering her completely unconscious.
Shortly after, the EMS ambulance crew members, Brynna Jesse and Jannelle Duncan arrived and cleared the woman. Still strapped to a C-spine board on her way to a healthcare facility for a follow-up check, Stallworthy went into cardiac arrest. Jesse and Duncan were forced into action, reviving her using CPR.
Stallworthy and her husband, Bob met and thanked the two EMS crew members. She met them for the first time since her collapse.
