Motorcyclist given CPR after deadly crash in Red Deer

A motorcyclist received CPR after a deadly crash in Red Deer. A man involved in the incident was charged with impaired driving that resulted to death after a crash in Red Deer.

Deadly crash in Red Deer

The Mounties were called to the intersection of 19th Street and 30th Avenue around 6:30 PM after receiving reports of a crash between a Ford F-150 truck and a motorcycle.

The truck which was heading north on 30th Avenue attempted to turn left onto 19th Street and collided with a motorcycle heading south on 30th Avenue. The witnesses performed CPR on the motorcyclist who was wearing a helmet until the emergency personnel and firefighters arrived. Sadly, the 44-year old man from Springbrook in Red Deer Country died at the scene.

The truck driver was arrested at the scene. Chad Ryan Connatty, 30-years old was charged with impaired driving causing death.
