A woman was given CPR after being hit by a vehicle in an east-end Montreal neighborhood. The accident occurred on the corner of Armand-Bombardier and Maurice-Duplessis boulevards in the Riviere-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles borough.
Timely intervention
According to the statement of the Montreal police, the woman was attempting to cross the street when she was hit by a vehicle heading south on Armand-Bombardier Boulevard. The driver was not in a position to avoid the collision with the pedestrian.
Upon the arrival of the first responders, they delivered CPR on the woman on-site before she was rushed to a healthcare facility.
The driver was given treatment for shock and investigators are currently on-site to figure out what happened.
