A multi-vehicle crash in Chilliwack involved at least 3 vehicles and required CPR on the scene. One individual was reportedly killed during the incident on Highway 1 in Chilliwack.
Tragic turn on the road
There were at least 3 vehicles involved during the incident. One rested on the roof and front windshield of another vehicle.
Several ambulances, firefighters, and police responded to the crash which occurred at around 4:30 PM at the east of the Vedder Road overpass in the westbound lane. The emergency responders were seen performing CPR on one of the victims.
The westbound traffic was diverted to Yale Road West as a landing zone was established in the westbound lane. The incident affected the traffic in both directions.
