Skydiving and paragliding accidents

A lawyer and a skydiver from Kamloops, British Columbia died in a skydiving accident in the interior city. the lawyer was identified as Don Campbell.

Timely aid

The Kamloops Sport Parachute Club issued a statement in the news that there was a problem with his parachute during his jump on Saturday. Paramedics, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, fire crews and some several Good Samaritans immediately responded to the accident. they provide first aid, but Campbell was not revived.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and coroner services are investigating the incident.

According to a Crown prosecutor named Anthony Varesi, he will be remembered as a very good counsel. He is a nice man, very fair and he represented hundreds of clients in his work. Everybody will be sad to hear of his tragic accident and will be felt for a very long time to come.

Campbell has been practicing law in British Columbia for more than 30 years. He passed the bar in 1987.  His classmates, both defense lawyers and Crown counsels, according to them, Campbell was a leading, “top-notch” attorney. He is also an expert in skill and efficiency. A friend of Campbell named Jeremy Jensen, also a lawyer said that Campbell was always happy sharing his photos of skydiving jumps which he is keeping in his iPad. He had gone a thousand of skydiving jumps already.

A Canadian paraglider named Justin Kyllo, about 51 years old is found dead on Mount Kilimanjaro. He is the owner of Smoke and Bones BBQ located in North Vancouver. He was taking part in an event where the participants will paraglide off the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. They will have to ascend Kilimanjaro’s peak which is about 5,895 meters high and they will paraglide down in order to raise money for the community projects in Tanzania.

During their paragliding, Kyllo had an accident on the mountains at Stella Point. People who were in the area immediately provided first aid on him. bystanders called paramedics and emergency numbers. rescue volunteers rushed to the area and continued providing first aid on Kyllo but were not revived. He died.
