Possible medical event experienced by victim of Burnside Road crash

A crash victim on Burnside Road might had a medical event. The Saanich Police stated that a medical event was behind the single-vehicle crash on Burnside Road near Grange that closed the road to morning school traffic.

Medical emergency

The vehicle swerved across Burnside Road not far from Spectrum School and knocked down a traffic sign on the east side of the road before reaching to a stop on the west side of the road in the front yard of a house.

The BC Ambulance crews transported the driver to a healthcare facility. Unconfirmed reports claim the driver received CPR. The incident sealed off the traffic along the road until 8:45 AM.
