A 12-year old girl revived her 2-year old brother. The boy was found unresponsive in the Washington state family’s septic tank.
Based on the report by News Tribune, East Pierce Fire and Rescue Chief Bud Becker, the mother of the children got the boy out of the tank but got stuck in the process, so the girl called for emergency assistance.

Safety concerns
The dispatchers instructed the girl on how to perform CPR to her brother. According to Becker, the boy was conscious upon the arrival of the emergency team at the home in the Tacoma suburb of Edgewood.
The boy was brought to a Tacoma hospital for treatment. It remains unclear on how long the boy was in the tank or how he got inside. Becker also added that residents should ensure that access points to the tank are secure to prevent similar accidents.
