CPR performed on man gunned down on Arbour Lake street

A man who was gunned down on Arbour Lake street was given CPR. The Calgary police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in broad daylight on a quiet residential street in Arbour Lake.

Shooting ordeal

Neighbors reported hearing up to 10 shots in the northwest community. According to Sue Washington, they thought it was firecrackers or something. When they saw neighbors running out their house, they called 911.

Washington and her husband went out to take a closer look from the safety of their vehicle. A man was lying in the street, covered in blood and somebody was performing CPR on him. The police arrived soon with guns drawn and closed the 600 block of Arbour Lake Drive during the investigation.

At the time of the incident, a guy in a SUV drove by and 2 guys had masks on and they were the ones that shot him.

According to Mike Dillalo who lives across the street from the victim, he ran outside when he heard the gunshots. The man appeared to have been shot in the neck and was still breathing as he lay in the middle of the road. Bystanders were performing CPR. The man who was in his 40s according to police died at the scene.
