CPR given to woman after a lawn mower accident

A 21-year old woman who was run over by a lawn mower was given CPR. Sadly, the woman died while working in the Town of Dewberry maintenance yard.

Deadly ordeal at work

A man who was walking by saw the woman trapped under the large tractor mower. He ran across the street to the fire station to get help according to Sgt. Juan Huss.

The fire crews performed CPR until the emergency medical services personnel arrived.

The woman was doing some maintenance work on that and it was jacked up and sadly she was underneath and it fell and pinned her under the tractor. The fire crews performed CPR until the emergency medical services personnel arrived. The paramedics took over but sadly, she was declared dead shortly after.

The family of the woman was advised and her name will not be released. The cause of death is not considered suspicious. The Occupational Health and Safety is investigating since her death is a workplace fatality.
