A toddler found floating in a public pool was given CPR. A 2-year old was rushed to a healthcare facility after she was found floating in a public pool in St-Leonard.
Watery ordeal
The near-drowning incident occurred at around 6 PM at the Piscine Ferland on 6020 Lavoisier Boulevard. The life guard dove into the water to save her and the first responders performed CPR.
Luckily, the child regained consciousness and rushed to a healthcare facility. The doctors did not fear for her life according to the police.
It remains unknown if the toddler was wearing a life jacket or how she ended up in the swimming pool.
