CPR given to a woman after hit by SUV

A woman who was hit by a SUV in Vancouver received CPR. The Vancouver police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead after she was hit by an SUV.

Vancouver Police Sgt. Randy Fincham stated that the 51-year old woman was hit just after 11 PM while she was crossing East 6th Avenue near the VCC-Clark Skytrain station at the north end of the Vancouver Community College.

The driver remained at the scene and the emergency crews delivered CPR on the woman. She was transported to a healthcare facility where she was later declared dead.

It was raining heavily at the time of the crash and the police stated that the darkness and wet weather contributed to the collision.
