Unforeseen ordeal on the road
Sgt. Norm Flemming with the Merritt RCMP stated that the family was traveling from Vernon to Vancouver along the Coquihalla Highway when the father realized that the child was not breathing. The parents pulled over north of Merritt, initiated CPR and called 911.
