A man who drowns after a weekend swimming incident was given CPR. The incident occurred at the Muskoka River.
Unforeseen watery ordeal
The Bracebridge OPP and the emergency crews were called to help when a man was unable to surface while swimming in the Muskoka River.
A man was swimming in the river with a friend when he went into distress and slipped under the water. The victim was found by bystanders and CPR was started. The 20-year-old Roberto Carmon was transported to a local healthcare facility where he was sadly declared dead.
