A young child passed away after a drowning ordeal in a backyard swimming pool in Moose Jaw.
According to Moose Jaw Police, officers responded to the incident, finding the child was in cardiac arrest after being in a swimming pool. The police stated that the officers performed CPR when they arrived. The EMS also assisted but first responders were unable to revive the child.
The child was under two years old. The police stated that foul play does not appear to be a factor in the death.
