A man stabbed during a fight on a transit bus was given CPR. Sadly, the man died. The 42-year old was stabbed during an incident on a Coast Mountain bus at around 2 PM.
He has not been publicly identified. He was rushed to a healthcare facility but did not survive his injuries. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed the death of the man in a statement.
The investigation is ongoing but it seems that the incident started as a “random argument” which escalated to a physical fight. The RCMP stated that several people called 911. In a video posted on social media, it showed paramedics performing CPR on the victim in the doorway of the bus.
Few details were provided on what is alleged to have happened, but a 22-year old man was arrested.
