Emergency childcare first aid classes take 8 hours to complete. They are usually completed within one day.
Emergency childcare first aid and CPR courses cost $89.99.
Candidates enrolled in this course will learn to treat and recognize the following emergencies:
- Non breathing unconscious victims
- Obstructed airway conscious and unconscious victims (Chocking)
- Sudden Medical Emergencies.
- Respiratory Emergencies.
- Shaking baby syndrome.
- Child birth.
- Environmental emergencies.
- Poisoning.
- Sprains and strains.
- Internal Injuries
- Head injuries.
- External bleeding.
- Broken bones and fractures.
- Seizures.
- Diabetic emergencies.
Candidates that successfully complete the skills component and multiple choice exam will immediately receive a workplace emergency first aid and CPR level “B” certificate. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Recertification courses are not available for this course, candidates must re-take the course to renew certification.
