We offer three levels of Workplace-Approved CPR Training. Select the one that best matches your needs below:
🩺 CPR Level A & AED
Ideal for: General workplace staff, security personnel, fitness professionals, and everyday citizens.
- Covers CPR techniques for adults only
- Includes use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Quick and affordable (4–5 hours total)
- No first aid content included
👉 Perfect if you’re looking for the most basic adult-only CPR certification.
👶 CPR Level C & AED
Ideal for: Teachers, childcare workers, parents, and fitness instructors.
- Covers CPR for adults, children, and infants
- AED training included
- Most commonly required for general workplaces
- Duration: Approx. 5–6 hours
👉 Choose this if you need comprehensive CPR coverage across all age groups.
🏥 CPR HCP / Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ideal for: Healthcare providers, nursing and medical students, dental professionals, and emergency responders.
- Advanced CPR skills for healthcare environments
- Includes two-rescuer CPR, pulse checks, BVM use, and more
- Meets Alberta Health Services (AHS) and academic program standards
- Duration: Approx. 4–6 hours

CPR courses range in length from 4 hours to 6 hours. Course time includes time for breaks.
CPR classes cost $73.99.
Upon successful completion of both the skills component and the multiple choice examination (75% minimum grade to pass), candidates will receive CPR certification that is valid for 3 years except for the CPR HCP / BLS course certificate because it is only valid for one year. Candidates may be required to renew certification prior to that time based on employer or educational program. Certification meets the needs of workplace and academic requirements.

Recertification sessions are shorter (usually 3–4 hours). All courses include demonstrations and hands-on practice.
You’ll learn how to:

- Recognize cardiac arrest and provide early, effective care
- Maintain scene safety until emergency help arrives
No prior experience is required. Participants should be able to perform basic physical skills like chest compressions and rescue breaths. Bring photo ID and wear comfortable clothing.

Recertifying before expiry keeps your certification current and ensures compliance with workplace or healthcare standards.
Yes. If your certificate is still valid, you can complete a recertification course:

CPR A / C Recertification: 3-hour session to refresh core skills.

BLS Recertification: annual refresher to maintain hospital and clinical compliance.
If your certificate has expired, you must retake the full course.
Alberta OH&S does not regulate and CPR only certification course.
