Standard First Aid Certification Course in Edmonton

Edmonton First Aid proudly offers standard first aid courses in Edmonton, Alberta. Also referred to as intermediate first aid, this two day course is one of the most popular and comprehensive first aid and CPR courses.  CPR level “C” comes standard with this course, however, candidates can opt for a health care provider level of CPR (CPR HCP) / BLS. Standard First Aid Course Length

The Standard First Aid and CPR course is 14 hours long and is typically completed over a two-day period.

Choosing the Right CPR Training

CPR Level “C” is included by default with this course; however, participants have the option to upgrade to CPR HCP/BLS for more advanced training.

• Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina and strokes).
• Deadly bleeding.

• Spinal injuries.
• Poisons.
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.

Examination for Standard First Aid Certification in Edmonton

At the end of the Standard First Aid Certification course, candidates must complete a multiple-choice examination. A minimum score of 75% is required to pass and receive certification.

No-Pressure Policy

At Edmonton First Aid, we understand that everyone learns at their own pace and in different ways. If a candidate doesn’t successfully complete the course on their first attempt, they are welcome to retake the course at no additional cost.

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:

Refunds are not available within 72 hours of the scheduled course start date. Transfers requested within this period will incur a $25 fee. For refund or transfer requests made more than 72 hours before the course, a full refund will be issued. Please note that no refunds are provided for rescheduled events.
