At Edmonton First Aid we proudly offer mask fit testing for N95, half and full respiratory masks. Our mask fit tests meet academic and workplace requirements. Learn about effective mask seals, workplace requirements, the importance of mask fitting, and how to put on, adjust tension and check your respirator. Qualitative and quantitative mask fittings are done in a 15 to 20 minute appointment. Upon successful completion of the appointment participants will receive a fit test certificate that is valid for one year. How Long Does Respiratory Mask Fit Testing Take in Edmonton?
The appointment takes anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes to complete.
What Are the Prerequisites?
Please ensure that you do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke within 25 minutes of the appointment. Please also ensure that you are clean-shaven.

Are Private Fittings Available?
Yes, we provide private fittings for groups and businesses. Please contact info@firstaidcourses.ca to book a private mask fit appointment with us. We are available to come to you or we can book at appointment at our training facility.
Refunds and Transfers
Refunds and transfers of respiratory mask fitting appointments are not provided within 72 hours of the primary course. Prior to this time participants can receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
A 50% fee will be charged for each additional fit test as required.
