Emergency First Aid and CPR Recertification Course in Edmonton

Edmonton First Aid offers workplace approved Emergency first aid and CPR recertification course. This renewal course, also referred to as basic first aid, is cheaper than the regular, full course. Prerequisites for Emergency First Aid and CPR Recertification Courses in Vancouver:
To be eligible for a Emergency First Aid and CPR Recertification, candidates must:

  • Have completed a full or recertification course within the past 3 years.
  • Present a valid certification card from a credible provider, such as St. John Ambulance, the Red Cross, St. Mark James Training, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, or SAFE First Aid.

Important Note:

  • Expired certification cards will not be accepted.
  • Candidates who fail to present a valid card at the start of the class will not receive a recertification card.

Emergency First Aid Recertification Length:

Emergency first aid and CPR level “A” re-cert courses take approximately 4 to 6 hours to complete.

Course Cost:

The cost of a re-cert for both first aid and CPR is 65 dollars. Course fee includes workplace approved certification fee and taxes.

Certification for Emergency First Aid Renewal Course in Edmonton:

Upon completion of the skills component and multiple choice exam (minimum 75% required to pass the exam) candidates will receive a emergency first aid and CPR level “A” certification card that is valid for 3 years.

  • Must have completed previous emergency first aid certification course with a credible provider such as St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James, Red Cross, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
  • Must have completed previous certification within Canada.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations will not be accepted within 72 hours of the primary course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund from registered course. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
