The Edmonton First Aid offers health care provider CPR training and CPR HCP Courses. This CPR course is the most comprehensive and detailed CPR course in Edmonton offered through Edmonton First Aid. CPR HCP Courses are designed for candidates working or studying in the health care industry primarily doctors, nurses, and medical students. This course includes Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and all of the content covered in both courses “A” and “C”. Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR HCP Course Length:
CPR “HCP” is an 6-hour course. It is typically completed within one day.

The Candidates enrolled in this course will learn to recognize and treat victims that are:
Participants that enrol in CPR for health care providers will learn advanced CPR rescue techniques for victims of all ages.
Unconscious and breathing.
Unconscious, not breathing with circulation.
Unconscious, not breathing, and no circulation.
Unconscious, not breathing with or without circulation using a bag-valve mask.
Unconscious obstructed airway.
Conscious obstructed airway.
Cardiac arrest requires an automated external defibrillator.
Suffering from cardiovascular emergencies.
CPR Certification:
The Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a CPR HCP / Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate. AED training comes standard with CPR HCP. Recertification courses are available for candidates looking to renew previous CPR HCP certificates. Cancellations or Transfers:
The Cancellations with full refunds are not processed within 72 hours of the primary course. Transfers within 72 hours of the course will be charged $25.00. Prior to 72 hours of the course, candidates can receive a full refund or transfer. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
