Edmonton First Aid offers workplace and academic approved CPR HCP recertification training for participants with expiring certificates. This course is also referred to as basic life support (BLS). Typical candidates include nurses, doctors, and other health care professionals and administrators. Recertification courses are significantly cheaper and shorter than the original course. Recertification Length:
CPR HCP recertification courses are 4 hours in length.
Price of CPR HCP Recertification’s in Edmonton:
CPR HCP / BLS recertification courses in Edmonton cost 78.99. Course fee includes manual, certification fee, and all applicable taxes.
Course Content:
Candidates will review all of the material and skills from the full CPR HCP / BLS course and focus on new standards for the CPR HCP curriculum.
CPR HCP Recertification’s Eligibility:
To be eligible for a St Mark James training CPR HCP / BLS renewal course candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must bring previous CPR HCP certification card to renewal / re-cert course.
- Must have completed previous certification courses with a credible provider such as St. Johns Ambulance, The Red Cross, St Mark James Training, Lifesaving Society, or Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online certifications are not eligible for recertification with a workplace-approved provider.
- Must have completed the previous certification within Canada. International certifications are not eligible for a Canadian recertification course.
No Pressure:
Edmonton First Aid understands that people learn at different speeds and through different methods. If you do not complete the course you are eligible to re-take the course at no extra cost.

Cancellations and Refunds:
Refunds and cancellations of health care provider CPR courses in Edmonton will not be accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours, candidates can receive a full refund from the registered course.
